A wise old owl sat on an oak, The more he saw the less he spoke, The less he spoke the more he heard, Why aren't we like that wise old bird?I'm nearly finished with this. Just a few finishing touches, some sequin black, then the next step is to apply a ton of gloss varnish. The gloss will trap in light and make the color appear more brilliant. The gloss layer over the ghostly translucent parts of the painting make it look sort of stereoscopic. I'm content with this one... Acrylics on canvas. Total time: about 6 hours.
