This is one of the bost beautiful moments in cinema history. A dream sequence from Tarkovsky's 1975 film 'Зеркало' or 'ZERKALO'... released in the US as 'The Mirror'. In this dream, Margarita Terekhova gazes into the mirror and sees her own reflection frighteningly aged... (played by the director's own mother).
Mirrors in dreams are rarely a good thing... A sign that you've ignored the clues fate sets before you, leaving your subconscious no other choice than to coerce your gaze onto your own reflection. When we see ourselves, our minds must interpret and evaluate our own image in a perceptive reality and find those faults or fears within that otherwise manifest without.
